Over-Seeding

If you are looking for a higher impact to improve the density of your lawn, then over-seeding is a good method. It should be performed in the conjunction with aeration. The process is performed by filling a broadcast spreader with seed and lightly applying a seed coat over your entire lawn after the aeration process. This allows seed to fall into the aeration cavities, creating multiple seed chambers, and providing an environment for immediate seed/soil contact. This process is vital for effective grass seed germination by allowing the seed to mix with the plugs as they break down on the lawn’s surface, creating higher germination rates.
